Tesla will reportedly lay off 693 people at its Nevada factory as part of a 10% global layoff plan the company announced earlier this month.

Tesla has submitted a submission to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and RehabilitationcrashbandicootmicrosoftA notice stating that it plans to lay off 693 employees at its Sparks plant in Nevada.

Earlier this month, Tesla announced plans to lay off about 1 percent of its employees.crashbandicootmicrosoft.40,000 people, accounting for 10% of its total global employees.

According to Tesla's previous WARN notices submitted to Texas and California, starting from June 14, Tesla will lay off 3332 people in California and 2688 people in Texas, affecting a total of more than 6000 positions.

The company also plans to lay off about 400 jobs in Germany starting July 15 and 285 jobs at its Buffalo, New York solar plant.
